Read Time:39 Second

U.S. stocks were mixed in the final hour of trading on Monday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average down slightly. The Dow was down roughly 15 points, or less than 0.1%, and appeared to be headed for its fourth straight session of losses. However, it toggled between gains and losses throughout the New York session as the benchmark 10-year Treasury yield pulled away from 5%. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 was up 0.4% and the Nasdaq Composite was 0.8% higher as investors focused on this week’s upcoming earnings announcements and the lack of major escalation in the Israel-Hamas war.
