That result comes as a number of officials in Washington, D.C., have tested positive for COVID in recent days, raising concerns at a time when the Biden administration’s narrative is that the pandemic is under control. The daily averages for new COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations and deaths all have ticked higher. Biden also tested negative on Friday.
