Tilray Inc. unit Manitoba Harvest said Wednesday its hemp powders will be exclusively available at 300 plus Whole Foods Market locations nationwide for the next 90 days as part of a tie-up between the two companies. Whole Foods, which is owned by Amazon.com Inc. , will offer Manitoba’s Hemp+ Matcha and Hemp+ Supergreens powders starting in April. After 90 days, the products will continue to be available at Whole Foods and other locations across the U.S. and Canada. The hemp powders “combine the power of hemp with complementary on-trend plant-based ingredients,” Manitoba said in a statement. Each serving contains 6 grams of plant-based protein and 2 to 3 grams of fiber from hemp. Tilray shares were down 0.7% premarket and have fallen 67% in the last 12 months, while the S&P 500 has gained 11%.
