: AIG names Sabra Purtill its permanent CFO

AIG Inc. AIG said late Tuesday it has named Sabra Purtill its permanent chief financial officer. Purtill had served as interim CFO since January, the company said. CFO Shane Fitzsimons will step down following a medical leave of absence, the insurer said. Shares of AIG rose more than 1% in the extended session Tuesday after ending the regular trading day down 2.1%.
