Bank of America more than doubles sustainable finance activity

Bank of America Corp. said Monday it mobilized and deployed about $250 billion in sustainable finance activity for 2021, an all-time high and an increase of 140% over the year-ago figure of $105 billion. The effort comes after the bank set a goal in 2021 of $1.5 trillion by 2030 in sustainable finance. Paul Donofrio, vice chair of Bank of America, worked on the effort, along with Karen Fang, global head of sustainable finance. Shares of Bank of America fell 0.5% on Monday, compared to a drop of 0.3% by the Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF .
