Stocks opened mostly lower Monday after major indexes posted their biggest weekly bounce since November 2020, with investors monitoring developments in the Russia-Ukraine war and awaiting remarks by Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 31 points, or 0.1%, at 34,724, while the S&P 500 rose 7 points, or 0.2%, to 4,470. The Nasdaq Composite fell 8 points, or 0.1%, to 13,886. Powell is set to deliver remarks at an economic conference at noon ET.
