Read Time:40 Second

Some Tesla Inc. TSLA workers are looking to unionize as they push for pay increases and less corporate monitoring, according to Bloomberg News. Workers in New York state who are involved in labeling data for Tesla’s Autopilot system have launched a unionization campaign and sent a letter about it to Chief Executive Elon Musk on Tuesday, according to the report. The workers are pushing back against monitoring protocols that track their keystrokes and how long they spend on active work each day. The workers, who start with roughly $19 hourly wages, according to Bloomberg, are also hoping for pay bumps. Tesla has dissolved its media relations team.
