: Steve Bannon sentenced to 4 months in prison for contempt of Congress

Former Donald Trump aide Steve Bannon was sentenced on Friday to four months in prison and fined $6,500 for contempt of Congress. Bannon was convicted in July on two charges after ignoring subpoenas from the House panel investigating the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol. Bannon will be allowed to appeal.
