Netflix Inc. said Friday its principal accounting officer Ken Barker has submitted his resignation effective Oct. 7. In a regulatory filing, the streaming giant said the move is a personal decision and is “not the result of any disagreement with the company on any matter relating to the company’s financials, operations, policies, or practices.” It named Chief Financial Officer Spencer Neumann as principal accounting officer while it conducts a search for a replacement for Barker. Shares were down 2.3% Friday and have fallen 62% in the year to date, while the S&P 500 has fallen 21%.
