Pottery Barn announced the launch of the Accessible Home Collection on Friday, a range of home items designed with the needs of those with disabilities, injuries and older customers in mind. Items for the bathroom, dining room, office and other parts of the house have special features, like multiple reclining positions and easy-to-read remote controls. Adjustable beds and desks as well as other furnishings are also available. Pottery Barn is part of the Williams-Sonoma Inc. portfolio of brands. Williams-Sonoma stock is down 16.8% for the year to date, roughly in line with the benchmark S&P 500 index , which is down 16.1% for the period.
