Vera Bradley CEO Robert Wallstrom to retire

Vera Bradley Inc. said late Thursday that President and Chief Executive Officer Robert Wallstrom plans to retire, remaining in his roles until a successor is named. That is expected by early 2023, the retailer said. Wallstrom, who became the company’s top executive in 2013, will work with the board of directors in a national search for a successor, Vera Bradley said. Shares of Vera Bradley were flat in the extended session Thursday after ending the regular trading day up 0.4%.
