: Tesla stock rallies again, toward the longest win streak in seven months

Read Time:58 Second

Shares of Tesla Inc. TSLA jumped 3.2% toward a three-month high in premarket trading, putting them on track an eighth straight gain. If the electric vehicle maker’s stock closes up Thursday, it would mark the longest winning streak since the eight-session stretch that ended July 22, 2022. The stock has soared 20.8% over the past seven sessions, and rocketed 58.3% amid a 14-session stretch in which it has gained 13 times. What might be helping provide a boost, semiconductor maker Monolithic Power Systems Inc. MPWR reported fourth-quarter results late Wednesday that beat expectations, with Oppenheimer analyst Rick Schafer saying Tesla likely a lead customer. Also, Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk said he’ll unveil a “Master Plan 3” on the EV maker’s investor day on March 1. The stock has run up 63.4% so far this year, after tumbled 65.0% in 2022, while the S&P 500 SPX has tacked on 7.3% year to date.
