: New York AG James files injunction against Trump to stop ‘continuing financial fraud’

Read Time:37 Second

New York Attorney General Letitia James on Thursday said she is seeking several measures to stop former President Donald Trump and the Trump Organization’s from “continuing financial fraud” — including prohibiting the business from transferring assets to another entity without court approval. James in September filed a civil fraud lawsuit against Trump, some of his children and the Trump Organization, accusing the Trumps of falsely inflating the ex-president’s net worth. “The Trump Organization appears to be taking steps to restructure its business to evade the reaches of OAG’s lawsuit,” James’ office said in a statement.
