Smucker raises dividend by 3% to $1.02 a share

The J.M. Smucker Co. said late Friday that its board of directors has approved a 3% dividend increase to $1.02, from 99 cents a share, to $1.02 a share. The dividend will be paid Sept. 1 to shareholders of record on Aug. 12. , 2022. The maker of Jif peanut butter and other food products said it “remains committed to returning value to shareholders, as this represents the 21th consecutive year of dividend growth.” Shares of J.M. Smucker were flat in the extended session Friday after ending the regular trading day down 0.8%.
