Kohl’s introduces gender-neutral collection and adaptive shoe line for back-to-school

Kohl’s Corp. has announced a number of new collections that will be available throughout stores for back-to-school. Through a partnership with Billy Footwear, Kohl’s will offer shoes that can be put on and taken off easily with zippers. Private labels like Jumping Beans and Tek Gear will offer gender-neutral apparel. And through a program called Discover @ Kohl’s, the department-store retailer will offer a rotating lineup of items from diverse businesses, with purchases from some brands coupled with charitable giving. Kohl’s recently ended takeover talks with Franchise Group Inc. , frequently talking up its strategy for growing its business throughout the review process. Kohl’s stock is down 41% for the year to date.
