Frontdoor CEO Tibbens to step down, to be succeeded by Chairman Cobb

Frontdoor Inc. said Friday that Chief Executive Rex Tibbens will step down, effective June 1, after four years in the role. The home-service plan provider, which brands include American Home Shield, Landmark and OneGuard, said Chairman William Cobb will succeed Tibbens, who will remain at the company through June 30 in an advisory role. Cobb has been chairman since October 2018. The stock, which was still inactive in premarket trading, has tumbled 28.6% year to date, while the S&P 500 has dropped 18.2%.
