The U.S., in coordination with other G-7 nations and the European Union, will announce new sanctions on Russia on Wednesday over Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine, the White House said. “This will include a ban on all new investment in Russia and increase sanctions on financial institutions and state-owned enterprises in Russia, and sanctions on Russian government officials and their family members,” said White House press secretary Jen Psaki.
