Biden says he’s seeking more Russia sanctions as he calls for war crimes trial for Putin

President Joe Biden on Monday said he is seeking to impose more sanctions on Russia, following the emergence of evidence of civilian executions in Ukraine. He also called for a war crimes trial for Russian President Vladimir Putin, telling reporters in Washington, “this guy is brutal.” Reports of civilian massacres in Bucha, Ukraine, led to international condemnation from world leaders and pledges to ramp up economic measures against Russia.
