Read Time:31 Second

Getty ImagesNew-home sales are expected to rise to a seasonally-adjusted annual pace of 757,000 units in December, according to economists polled by MarketWatch. The short supply of existing homes for sale has pushed more buyers into the market for newly-constructed properties, but home builders have faced headwinds in the form of labor and materials shortages that have pushed the price of these homes higher. The Census Bureau will release the report at 10 a.m.
